Dr. Usman Maqsood is an experienced Consultant Respiratory Physician with expertise in both general and respiratory medicine. He graduated from the University of Health Sciences in Lahore in 2003 and completed his specialist training in the UK, earning a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) while working at leading hospitals in the West Midlands. To further enhance his skills, he pursued a fellowship in interventional pulmonology at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals.

Dr. Maqsood’s clinical practice covers a broad range of general respiratory conditions, including cough, breathlessness, asthma, COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), bronchiectasis, sarcoidosis, respiratory infections such as tuberculosis, and obstructive sleep apnea. He is also highly skilled in performing a variety of essential procedures, such as focused thoracic ultrasound, bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), pleural aspiration (both diagnostic and therapeutic), indwelling pleural catheter (IPC) insertion, and intercostal chest drain procedures.
