Susan Camm

Susan Camm is a Chartered Psychologist and HCPC-registered practitioner whose work focuses on psychological assessment and therapy across a range of emotional and psychological difficulties. Her clinical practice includes both time-limited and longer-term therapeutic work, using evidence-based approaches grounded in established psychological theory, including cognitive behavioural therapy.

Her professional background includes extensive experience as a counselling psychologist across multiple healthcare environments. She has worked in primary and secondary care settings as well as in private practice, developing a broad clinical skill set informed by work within NHS services and independent healthcare.

Susan’s areas of clinical expertise include the assessment and treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress, relationship difficulties and specific phobias. Her work is supported by a strong focus on psychological assessment and formulation, allowing interventions to be tailored to individual needs using a range of therapeutic models.

Alongside her clinical role, Susan maintains active engagement with professional organisations. She is an Affiliate Member of the British Psychological Society’s Division of Counselling Psychology, a member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies and the Open University Psychological Society, a Founder Member of the Society for Coaching Psychology, and a London Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine.

She places strong emphasis on ongoing professional development and continues to expand her clinical and academic knowledge. Her current research interests include cognitive assessment, the refinement of cognitive-behavioural models and improving therapeutic outcomes within cognitive therapy.
