About
Mr. Sulaiman Alazzawi is a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacements and treating painful or failing joint replacements. He completed his basic surgical training in the East of England, becoming a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS). He undertook a post-graduate research degree (MSc) at University College London and completed his higher specialist training in Orthopaedics on the Royal London Rotation, achieving a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery (FRCS Tr&Orth). He enhanced his training further with prestigious fellowships, including a specialized trauma fellowship in Hannover, Germany, and an adult reconstruction fellowship in Vancouver, Canada. Mr. Alazzawi has published over 30 scientific papers and book chapters and presents regularly at national and international meetings. He is a reviewer for the Bone & Joint Journal (BJJ), Injury, the Knee, and BMJ journals. He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association.
