Mr Stephen Ng Man Sun is a highly experienced Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist focus on paediatric orthopaedics. He provides expert diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of children’s musculoskeletal conditions, including paediatric trauma, sports injuries, complex foot disorders, clubfoot, childhood hip conditions, neuromuscular disorders, and limb deformity correction.
Mr Ng Man Sun studied Medicine at University College London (UCL) Medical School, where he also earned a BSc in Orthopaedic Science with First Class Honours from the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (Stanmore). He completed his Higher Orthopaedic Surgical Training on the prestigious Imperial North West London Training Programme.
Following his specialist training, he undertook advanced fellowships in paediatric orthopaedics, including at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and the renowned Fred Dietz Clubfoot Fellowship (UK), gaining subspecialist expertise in managing complex paediatric cases.
Mr Ng Man Sun currently holds an NHS consultant position at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, a recognised tertiary referral centre for paediatric orthopaedics in London. He is also actively involved in medical education as the Educational Lead for Orthopaedic Specialist Registrars, and regularly teaches junior doctors and medical students from Imperial College London.
His research interests include clubfoot, developmental hip dysplasia, and bone and joint infections in children. He has contributed to book chapters, peer-reviewed journal publications, and has presented his work at international orthopaedic conferences.
