Sophie Kay

Miss Sophie Kay works as a Consultant Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist at the Lister Fertility Clinic, based within The Portland Hospital. As a GMC-registered consultant, she applies up-to-date clinical evidence and research in her practice and adopts a personalised, reflective approach to each individual’s fertility care. Her focus is on making sure patients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their treatment pathway.

She completed her medical degree at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine in 2012, alongside a BSc in Physiology with Reproductive Health. She then undertook specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology across leading London hospitals, working with internationally recognised fertility teams. Her training included a clinical fellowship at King’s Fertility and an advanced training skills module at the Assisted Conception Unit at Guy’s Hospital.

Miss Kay has a strong interest in inclusive fertility care, particularly in supporting diverse family structures. Her clinical focus includes modern reproductive pathways such as the use of donor gametes and fertility preservation planning.
