Mr Shirish Ambekar has been working at a consultant level at Barts Heart Centre, Harley Street Clinic in London. He is an experienced consultant, having performed thousands of cardiac procedures over last couple of decades. He performs all adult cardiac surgery including complex redo surgery, multiple valve replacements, aortic surgery, Endocarditis surgery, CABG with valve surgery, surgeries for pericardial diseases and cardiac tumours.

His operative outcomes are consistently excellent and are published on NACSA (National Adult Cardiac Surgical Audit). Mr Ambekar has very good reviews by his colleagues, patients and their families alike. He takes part in the process of annual appraisal every year and follows all the domains of Good Medical Practice described by the GMC.

Mr. Ambekar is an academic and researcher and keeps abreast of all the recent developments in his field. He has many publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Mr Ambekar is an Expert Witness and is able to produce court compliant medical expert reports within 3-4 weeks of instruction.
