Dr Haider has cared for more than 6,000 patients with acute neurological conditions, including thousands of hyperacute video assessments for suspected stroke. He also founded and leads the UK's first Neurology Same Day Emergency Care (NeuroSDEC) service at UCLH.
His priority is to deliver an accurate diagnosis as quickly as possible, giving patients clarity, reassurance and an effective treatment plan.
Expertise & Innovation
* Founder and Clinical Lead of the NeuroSDEC service, providing urgent neurological assessment and treatment while helping patients avoid unnecessary hospital admission.
* Key contributor to the London Ambulance Service's video assessment pathway for suspected stroke, now used extensively across London.
* Holds a PhD in Huntington's disease and has completed advanced subspecialty training in dementia.
* Senior Lecturer at UCL, combining specialist clinical practice with research, teaching and the development of innovative neurological services.
Dr Haider is currently leading the development of a private acute neurology service at Princess Grace Hospital, bringing rapid-access specialist neurological care to patients in the independent sector.
