Dr Richard Ang is a Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at Homerton University Hospital and Barts Heart Centre. He has over a decade of experience in the treatment of heart rhythm conditions, including atrial fibrillation and SVTs. He is the clinical lead for SVT ablation procedures at Barts Heart Centre.

Richard gained his medical qualification at the University of London in 2002, after which he undertook his basic and specialist cardiology training at various major teaching hospitals in London. He was awarded a prestigious research fellowship by the Medical Research Council to complete his PhD at University College London studying heart rhythm disorders.

Richard is passionate in engaging his patients to manage their health in partnership. He sees private patients at the One Heart Clinic, Harley Street and the HCA Wellington Hospital.
