Shakeel Saeed

Professor Shakeel R. Saeed, MBBS, MD, FRCS (ORL), is a leading surgeon and researcher in disorders of the ear, hearing, balance, facial nerve, and skull base. He graduated from King's College, London in 1985, and his Doctorate thesis was awarded in 2003. Prof Saeed has a wealth of experience in lateral skull base surgery and implantation otology, performing over 2000 complex ear surgeries, over 400 cochlear implant surgeries, over 500 vestibular schwannoma (acoustic neuroma) and other skull base surgeries, and 25 auditory brainstem implant surgeries. He is actively involved in otological research and peer reviews, with over 120 peer-reviewed publications and over 250 presentations at scientific meetings nationally and internationally.
