Professor Ramindar Dhillon is a highly regarded Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Specialist, widely recognised for his leadership in the diagnosis and management of complex upper airway and nasal conditions.
Professor Dhillon graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Middlesex Medical School in 1978. He completed comprehensive ENT and surgical training across London, including attainment of Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, before being appointed Consultant in 1989.
Alongside his clinical work, Professor Dhillon is an Honorary Professor at Middlesex University and serves as Medical Director of the Rila Institute of Health Sciences, where he leads the development of postgraduate programmes for healthcare professionals. He has also played a key role in creating and delivering national training initiatives to enhance GP skills in ENT and airway management.
Professor Dhillon’s clinical expertise includes functional nasal and sinus surgery, snoring and sleep-disordered breathing, obstructive sleep apnoea, and a range of nasal and ear pathologies, including paediatric ENT conditions and sinofacial pain.
He is Programme Leader for the ENT UK-accredited course on altered airway management and also serves on the editorial board of ENT UK’s CPD journal The Otorhinolaryngologist and is Editor of Clinical Focus: Primary Care.
