Professor Hanna is a Senior Consultant Neurologist and has gained extensive clinical consultant experience. He has personally assessed ad treated over 16000 patients with a very wide range of different neurological disease. He currently personally assesses and treats over 1500 patients per year. 

He has an international reputation for clinical care and research in muscle wasting neurological diseases including motor neuron disease, myasthenia gravis, mitochondrial disease, channelopathies and neuropathy. He leads inpatient neurological rehabilitation for patients with the neuromuscular neurological disease.
