About
Dr. Bobby Prasad is a highly experienced Consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist who specialises in the management of gastroenterology and hepatology conditions. With a focus on providing comprehensive care, he has expertise in treating a wide range of conditions including inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn's disease, abdominal pain, bowel cancer screenings, and abnormal liver function.
Dr. Prasad obtained his primary medical qualification from the University of London in 1994. He then completed his basic and advanced training at renowned institutions such as Boston University and St. Thomas' Hospital in London. Following his training, he was appointed as a Consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London, in 2005. Later, he also took on the role of Clinical Lead for Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the same institution. During this time, Dr. Prasad provided support to other esteemed hospitals including the Royal Brompton and Royal Marsden Hospital.
Dedicated to delivering holistic care and practising evidence-based medicine, Dr. Prasad creates a warm and approachable environment for his patients, encouraging open communication and addressing their concerns. He is not only an accredited Endoscopist but also an Endoscopy Trainer as part of the National Endoscopy Training Program at St. George's Hospital. Dr. Prasad actively participates in medical education, serving as a tutor for medical students, Consultants, and junior doctors at both national and international levels.
