Adrien Peters

Professor Adrien Peters is a distinguished clinical academic and specialist in nuclear medicine, with a career spanning several decades across leading UK institutions. He has been a practising specialist in nuclear medicine since 1999, combining clinical excellence with a sustained commitment to academic leadership and research.

Professor Peters graduated with an MB ChB from the University of Liverpool in 1970. He has since held a number of senior academic appointments, including Reader in Nuclear Medicine and Professor of Diagnostic Radiology at Imperial College London, as well as Professor of Nuclear Medicine at the University of Cambridge. Through these roles, he has played a significant part in advancing education, research, and clinical standards within imaging and nuclear medicine.

His clinical work is underpinned by a strong interest in clinical governance, quality assurance, and the delivery of safe, high-quality nuclear medicine services.
