Parveen Kumar Verasingam

Mr Parveen Verasingam is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Advanced Minimal Access Surgeon with specialist expertise in complex endometriosis, advanced laparoscopic surgery, fibroid surgery and minimally invasive hysterectomy. He is the Lead for Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery and Endometriosis at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust, where he established and leads a tertiary endometriosis service managing some of the most complex pelvic conditions in the region.

Mr Verasingam completed advanced fellowship training in severe endometriosis surgery at the renowned Cornwall Endometriosis Centre under the mentorship of Mr Dominic Byrne, alongside fellowship training in gynaecological oncology. His practice focuses on severe endometriosis involving the bowel, bladder and ureters, complex fibroid surgery, laparoscopic hysterectomy, fertility-preserving surgery and advanced pelvic reconstruction.

He works within a multidisciplinary team alongside colorectal surgeons, urologists and specialist radiologists to provide comprehensive care for women with complex pelvic pain and endometriosis. He is particularly recognised for his expertise in minimally invasive surgery for complex cases, including patients with high BMI and extensive pelvic disease.

Alongside his clinical work, Mr Verasingam is actively involved in surgical innovation, research and medical education. His interests include robotic surgery, theatre efficiency, enhanced recovery pathways and the development of patient-centred digital health solutions for women with pelvic disorders.
