Dr Parastoo Babakinejad is a Consultant Dermatologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital and University Hospital Lewisham, where she also serves as the Clinical Lead for Dermatology. She provides comprehensive care for complex skin conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, acne, blistering disorders, drug reactions, and skin cancer. Dr Babakinejad earned her medical degree from King’s College London and is a member of both the British Association of Dermatologists and the Royal College of Physicians.

Her clinical research contributions include work on the link between methotrexate dosage and liver fibrosis in psoriasis patients, published in the British Journal of Dermatology. She has also actively contributed to the development of national guidelines for narrowband ultraviolet B phototherapy, ensuring that patients receive the most current and effective treatments. Dr Babakinejad takes a patient-centred approach, tailoring treatments to meet the unique needs of each individual while providing care based on the latest evidence-based practices.
