Mr. Panagiotis Drymousis is a highly accomplished Consultant General and Upper Gastrointestinal (GI) Surgeon. He earned his medical degree from the University of Athens, Medical School, and after completing his compulsory military service, commenced his surgical training at Hippocration Hospital in Athens. He received advanced training in HPB surgery in the United Kingdom, including a Senior Clinical Fellowship in HPB Surgery at Hammersmith Hospital in London. He earned a PhD focused on complex upper gastrointestinal surgeries and the management of related complications from the University of Athens. Mr. Drymousis secured a Marie Curie European Scholarship for advanced training and research in HPB and Neuroendocrine Surgery. His surgical practice includes the diagnosis and treatment of dyspepsia symptoms, gallstone disease, biliary pathology, and various hernia surgeries. He leads the rapid access clinic at Whittington Hospital and is committed to training junior doctors and surgeons. Mr. Drymousis actively participates in research, frequently presenting his findings at national and international meetings. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters.
