Nikos is a Consultant Neurologist specialising in acquired brain injury and neurorehabilitation, working at Barts Health NHS Trust and within the Regional Neurorehabilitation Unit. He also holds the position of Honorary Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London and currently sees private patients at The Wellington Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare UK.
He completed his specialist neurology training at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery at Queen Square, before undertaking the highly competitive National Treasure Clinical Fellowship in Neurological Rehabilitation at the same institution.
Alongside his clinical work, Nikos maintains a strong academic focus on cognitive impairment following brain injury, including cases arising from trauma, stroke, and cardiac arrest. He was awarded a PhD by the UCL Institute of Neurology at Queen Square and later completed a Clinical Lectureship at Imperial College London. His research has resulted in multiple publications in high-impact peer-reviewed journals, as well as presentations at national and international conferences. He is also actively involved in medical education, contributing to both undergraduate and postgraduate neurology teaching.
