Nwaneka Eze

Miss Nwaneka (Nneka) Eze is a Consultant ENT Surgeon who qualified in medicine from Imperial College in 1999. She treats the full range of ear, nose, and throat conditions in both adults and children, with particular expertise in disorders of hearing and ear disease, as well as paediatric ENT.

She has completed two advanced fellowships, the first in otology and hearing implants at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, followed by specialist training in paediatric ENT at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Alongside her clinical work, Miss Eze has a strong academic background and was awarded an MD in Cochlear Micromechanics after spending 18 months conducting research at Columbia University in New York. She has also gained international experience through time spent at the ENT department in Zurich, Switzerland, and regularly contributes to teaching while presenting her work at international conferences.

Miss Eze’s surgical practice includes functional nasal procedures, sinus surgery including balloon sinuplasty and functional endoscopic sinus surgery, septoplasty, mastoid and middle ear surgery such as tympanoplasty and stapedectomy, pinnaplasty and otoplasty, airway reconstruction, grommet insertion, tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, laser treatment for nasal blockage and polyps, vocal cord surgery, and head and neck procedures. She also manages a wide range of medical ENT conditions, including acoustic neuroma, labyrinthitis, vestibular neuritis, otosclerosis, eardrum perforations, Meniere’s disease, sinusitis, tonsillitis, smell disorders, obstructive sleep apnoea, nasal obstruction, epistaxis, swallowing difficulties, voice and hoarseness disorders, gastroesophageal reflux disease, noisy breathing, tonsil and adenoid infections, and complex congenital ENT conditions.
