Ms. Kyrgiou is a consultant gynaecologist and gynecologic oncologist, as well as a senior lecturer at Imperial College London. She has extensive training in obstetrics and gynaecology and has specialized in minimal access surgery and gynecologic oncology. She holds a master's in advanced gynecologic endoscopy and completed a doctorate thesis in ovarian cancer chemotherapy. She has expertise in the management of cervical, vulva, and endometrial pre-invasive and invasive diseases and has led research investigating the impact of cervical treatment on reproduction. Her areas of expertise include laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, gynecologic oncology, gynaecological oncology surgery, general gynaecology, colposcopy, vulva, gynaecological surgery, menstrual disorders, endometriosis, fibroids, fertility-sparing surgery in cancer, rapid access services for suspected cancer, early pregnancy, and female infertility.
