Katy Clifford

Mrs Katy Clifford is an experienced Consultant Gynaecologist with a long-standing career in women’s health. She completed her medical training at Cambridge University and Westminster in 1985, before undertaking specialist obstetrics and gynaecology training across several leading London hospitals, including Queen Charlotte’s, King’s College and St Mary’s.

In 1990, she was awarded the Gold Medal in the MRCOG examination and later completed an MD, focusing her doctoral research on the hormonal factors involved in early pregnancy loss. She was appointed Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2000 and has since developed extensive expertise across a broad range of gynaecological care.

Alongside her clinical work, Mrs Clifford provides an outpatient hysteroscopy service for women experiencing menstrual problems and abnormal uterine bleeding. She also maintains a strong commitment to medical education, supporting postgraduate training and contributing to the assessment of junior doctors at Imperial College London and within the North West Thames region.

Her clinical practice covers hysteroscopy, hormone replacement therapy, routine well-woman assessments, general gynaecology, menopause management, menstrual irregularities, antenatal care and the management of polycystic ovary syndrome.
