Jonathan Hutt is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Hip Surgery.
After completing his medical studies at New College, Oxford and Imperial College, Mr Hutt then undertook specialist orthopaedic training in London. He was awarded a Fellowship in Lower Limb Reconstruction at the Université de Montréal in Canada and an additional Fellowship in Young Adult Hip Surgery at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in London.
His extensive experience and training has allowed him to develop a specialist interest in all aspects of hip surgery, He is experienced in advanced joint preservation techniques such as minimally invasive periacetabular osteotomy and hip arthroscopy for femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) as well as hip reconstruction for other causes of hip pain in young patients. When preservation of the joint is not possible, he is experienced in hip replacement using both the direct anterior (DAA) and posterior approaches to the hip, as well as revision (redo) surgery. He has a particular interest in young patients with hip problems and complex surgery for failed hip replacements. He is involved in innovation and research in advanced hip preservation techniques as well as emerging hip technology and implants to improve patient outcomes.

He is active in medical education and regularly contributes his experience at training courses and at national and international conferences.
