Mr William Townley is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon specialising in Cosmetic, Plastic, Reconstructive and Head and Neck Surgery.

William is a graduate of both Oxford and Cambridge Universities where he was both an academic prize winner and represented the University at rugby. He completed specialist training in presitgious plastic surgery units across the UK (London, Salisbury, Oxford) and Toronto including a 2-year research degree leading to the award of MD. He has visited many international units (USA, Canada, France, Germany) to learn aesthetic and reconstructive surgery techniques from the best.

Mr. Townley is a caring and compassionate surgeon with expertise in a broad spectrum of plastic surgery procedures (breast reshaping, face, nose). He is internationally renowned as an expert in complex facial reconstruction and corrective treatments for facial palsy and sits on the Medical Advisory Board for the charity Facial Palsy UK.

Mr. Townley has a special niche interest in facial aesthetic surgery including rhinoplasty and developing new minimally invasive techniques for facial rejuvenation (short scar face and neck lifts, fat transfer to the face, 'secret' eyelid bag removal).

Mr Townley is on the Specialist Register in Plastic Surgery as well as an active member of British Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (BAPRAS) and British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS).
