Mr Setchell is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a focus on Minimal Access Surgery (Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic Surgery) and Benign Complex Gynaecology. He qualified in 2000, having studied at the University of Nottingham Medical School from 1995 to 2000.

Mr Setchell's special interests include managing fibroids and endometriosis, and he treats patients with menstrual problems, pelvic pain, ovarian cysts, and fertility issues, among other general gynaecological conditions. He has significant expertise in performing key-hole surgery.

In addition to his surgical practice, Mr Setchell provides care for women throughout pregnancy, labour, and the postnatal period, prioritising patient choice and the wellbeing of both mother and baby.

Mr Setchell holds an NHS Consultant position at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London, part of Imperial College Healthcare. Alongside his clinical duties, he has a special interest in surgical simulation training.
