Raj is a Consultant ENT Surgeon specialising in Rhinology (rhinoplasty and sinus surgery) and Skull base surgery. He sees private patients at Spire Manchester Hospital in Didsbury, the BMI Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle, and the Wilmslow Hospital in Wilmslow.

Raj is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (England), is President of the British Rhinological Society, and is on the Councils of ENT UK, the British Society of Facial Plastic Surgery, and the Royal Society of Medicine. He is also a member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery.

Raj is an expert in his field, and teaches and trains surgeons across the UK and abroad. He runs his own cadaveric rhinoplasty, sinus and skull base dissection courses in Manchester.

Raj's NHS practices are at Manchester Royal infirmary and Salford Royal Hospital. He performs specialist surgery at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. His private practice case load is identical to the work he carries out in the NHS.
