Mr Nilesh Agarwal is a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in London, UK. He gained his qualifications from varied leading institutions in both India and UK, including; Whipps Cross University Hospital, Royal London Hospital, Royal Free & Whittington Hospital, and Queen's Hospital. He undertook additional training as Clinical Research Fellow in Fetal Medicine, gynaecology emergencies & scanning at St. George’s Hospital.
He has specialist expertise in laparoscopy (keyhole surgery), Menstrual disorders (heavy/painful/irregular periods), emergency and acute gynaecology. He is fully accredited for management of medical high risk pregnancy conditions including early pregnancy and scanning. He has a strong belief in preventive care, holistic approach with minimal intervention and is experienced in Naturopathy.
Nilesh has won several international awards and fellowships including; Alan Gordon Fellowship by British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE), Green-Armytage / Spackman Fellowship by RCOG, Fellowship of Federation of Obstetric & Gynaecological Societies (FOGSI). He is regularly invited to speak at conferences or invited as international faculty for his expert opinions.
In his personal time he enjoys cycling, swimming and spending time with his three young children. He shows his support for various charities including Society of the Helpers of Mary & Pratham and previously organising campaigns for blood donation & effective waste disposal in Asia’s largest slums in Dharavi.
