Mr Moninder Bhabra is a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon based in Birmingham. His areas of expertise include mitral and tricuspid valve reconstruction, minimally invasive valve surgery, atrial fibrillation ablation, heart and lung transplantation, and the use of mechanical circulatory support devices.

Mr Bhabra has been based at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust since 2014. He qualified with an MBBS from the University of Nottingham in 1989 and completed higher specialist training in cardiothoracic surgery in the West Midlands and London, before being appointed as a consultant in 2003.

In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Bhabra has made significant contributions to the field of cardiothoracic surgery through his research and involvement in academic conferences, particularly in the areas of valve reconstruction and minimally invasive surgery. His work has been published in various peer-reviewed journals.
