Mr Mike Stafford is a Consultant Gynaecologist with a specialist interest in Urogynaecology. Mr Stafford graduated from the Medical College of St Bartholomew's Hospital in 1986 and went on to be awarded the MRCOG in 1993 and an MD in 1998.

In 2000, he became a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the prestigious Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London where he is currently also Chairman of the Hospital Medical Staff Committee. He is also currently the Lead Consultant for Urogynaecology and TOP services at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

Mr Stafford also has deep expertise in a number of sub-specialist areas including the treatment of bladder pain, complex benign gynaecology and general gynaecology.

Mr Stafford is passionate about research and education and has written extensively on topics including general gynaecology, colposcopy, urogynaecology and infection. He has been published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and is an active participant in delivering education to junior doctors and colleagues.

Mr Stafford is also an undergraduate examiner and selector for Imperial College. He also used to serve as Service Lead for Gynaecology and was a member of the Riverside Ethics committee as well as the North West Thames Director of Advanced Training Skills.
