Dr Kyle Gilmour is an experienced Consultant Gynaecologist who has been practicing in the Manchester area for many years. He previously served as an NHS Consultant for 19 years, during which time he was the lead for gynaecological cancer services and colposcopy. Having now moved exclusively into private practice, Dr Gilmour focuses on providing specialist gynaecological care tailored to his patients’ needs.

He is highly skilled in laparoscopic surgery, including laparoscopic hysterectomy, removal of ovaries or ovarian cysts, and the treatment of conditions such as endometriosis. In addition, he has extensive expertise in surgery for uterovaginal prolapse and is able to perform hysterectomies via laparoscopic, vaginal, or abdominal approaches, depending on individual patient factors.

Dr Gilmour also has considerable experience in the management of fibroids and menstrual problems, often using advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques. Alongside his surgical expertise, he has a strong research interest in the menopause and hormone replacement therapy, and he is committed to supporting women with evidence-based advice and treatment in these areas.
