Mr Josiah Eyeson is a Consultant Oral Surgeon and a GDC-recognised specialist in Oral Surgery, with over two decades of specialist experience. He undertook his undergraduate dental training at King’s College London before completing a higher specialist training programme in Academic Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at King’s College London and Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals in 2009. During this period, he also held the position of Lecturer in Oral Surgery at King’s College London Dental Institute.
Since May 2010, Mr Eyeson has been a Consultant in Oral Surgery at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the renowned Eastman Dental Hospital, where he has served as the Trust Lead Clinician for Oral Surgery for over a decade. He also holds a consultant post at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at University College London. Alongside his clinical work, he has been actively involved in research and patient safety programmes.
Mr Eyeson plays a major role in education and training and is the lead clinician for Oral Surgery as well as the lead trainer for NHS and NIHR higher specialty training programmes within his department.
Clinically, Mr Eyeson practises the full spectrum of Oral Surgery. His areas of expertise include dentoalveolar surgery, removal of impacted teeth, oral cancer screening, bone augmentation, dental implantology augmentation procedures, benign salivary gland disease, and the management of non-malignant hard and soft tissue oro-facial pathology. He is known for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across both NHS and private settings.
