Mr. Jason Bernard is a leading Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with subspecialty expertise in spinal surgery. He graduated from Glasgow University in 1990 and completed his specialist orthopaedic training in Sheffield and London. Mr. Bernard spent a year at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and was appointed a Consultant in 2004. He developed the Spinal Surgery Service at St. George's Healthcare in South West London. Mr. Bernard treats various spinal conditions, including deformities, tumours, bulging discs, and trauma. He is heavily involved in medical education, developing and teaching courses on vertebroplasty and co-chairing the committee for implementing NICE guidelines on Metastatic Spinal Cord Compression. His treatments include vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, scoliosis surgery, and managing spinal fractures and tumours.
