About
Mr Guy Webster is a Consultant Urological Surgeon practicing with HCA Healthcare at The Wellington Hospital. With a focus on stones, infections of the urinary tract, urological cancer, and de-obstruction surgery, he employs open and minimally invasive surgical techniques and performs day case scrotal surgery.
After earning his Medical Degree from Birmingham University Medical School, Mr Webster taught anatomy there for a year before completing his surgical training in Leeds and the West Midlands. He has received multiple awards for his work, including the Edinburgh RCS John Steyne and the BAUS Ethicon prize. Additionally, he spent a year as a Fellow and Lecturer in Brisbane Australia, where he gained further experience in endoscopic and cancer surgery.
Mr Webster was appointed as a Consultant at the age of 34 and has introduced laparoscopic procedures and renal robotic procedures to his trust following training in Paris and Denmark and then in 2011. He is also actively involved in medical education and mentoring other Urologists. Furthermore, he has published book chapters and papers in peer-reviewed journals and is a reviewer for Urology Journals. Mr Webster is the Lead for Cancer and a Royal College Advisor.
In his leisure time, Mr Webster likes to play tennis and golf and enjoys watching his children play competitive sports.
