Mr. David Floyd is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon and Honorary Senior Lecturer. His specialist interests include complex soft tissue reconstruction, particularly for the breast, abdomen, hand, and lower limb. He is a full member of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS), and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH). He graduated from Cambridge University in 1985 and completed his medical degree at University College Hospital London in 1988. Mr. Floyd followed this with four years of general surgical training, attaining an MSc in wound healing, and eight years of plastic surgery training, becoming a consultant in 2002. He has made numerous academic contributions to plastic surgery literature and regularly presents his work at national and international conferences. His expertise includes cosmetic plastic surgery, hand surgery, breast surgery, cosmetic breast surgery, liposuction, abdominoplasty, breast augmentation, breast uplift surgery, breast reduction, and complex soft tissue reconstruction.
