Damir Kosutic

Mr Damir Kosutic is an internationally acclaimed Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. He is an expert in Lymphoedema Microsurgery, Natural Tissue Breast Reconstruction (DIEP flap), Sarcoma and Advanced Skin Cancer Reconstruction. He is the only plastic surgeon in the UK trained in Lymphoedema Microsurgery by prof. Cheng and prof. Masia - pioneers in this field from Taiwan and Barcelona. He is also one of the small number of UK-practicing plastic surgery Consultants who is a full member of the World Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery (WSRM) and EURAPS (European Association of Plastic Surgeons).

Mr Kosutic completed prestigious fellowships in Breast Reconstruction and Perforator flaps with pioneers in this field. He has published some of the key papers on one of today’s most significant advances in the field of microsurgical breast reconstruction – the use of CT angiogram and MRI for the planning of perforator flaps to significantly improve surgical outcomes for all women undergoing breast reconstruction.
