Dr. Ben Hartley is a Consultant Paediatric Otolaryngologist and a leader in the field of Children's Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) surgery. He began his surgical career at St George's in London and further honed his skills in otolaryngology training in the North Thames Region, working in various London hospitals. Dr. Hartley also trained in Paediatric Otolaryngology in the USA, working with a top surgeon in the field. He has received the Hallet Medal for achieving the highest score in his Primary Royal College of Surgeons exams. He directs the British Paediatric Otolaryngology Course and lectures globally. Dr. Hartley has published over 70 peer-reviewed papers and reviews articles for prestigious journals such as The Lancet. His expertise includes paediatric ENT surgery, ventilation tubes (grommets and T-tubes), tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, airway endoscopy, tracheal surgery, cochlear implantation, salivary surgery, and excision of cystic hygroma, branchial clefts, head and neck dermoid cysts, and lymph node excision, alongside paediatric otolaryngology, hearing problems, recurrent ear infections, nasal blockage, obstructive sleep apnoea, cysts and neck lumps, deafness, and dribbling.
