Mr Azzam Farroha

Mr Azzam Farroha is a highly experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeon with expertise in reconstructive, skin cancer and cosmetic surgery. He is committed to providing personalised, compassionate care, taking the time to understand each patient's concerns and guiding them through every stage of their treatment journey with clarity and reassurance.

Since 2014, Mr Farroha has been a substantive Consultant Plastic Surgeon at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust and also welcomes private patients at The Harborne Hospital.

Mr Farroha undertook extensive specialist training in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He holds the qualifications MB, ChB, MSc, FICMS (Plast), FEBOPRAS and FRCS (Eng), reflecting his commitment to clinical excellence and continuous professional development.

Mr Farroha is a core member of both the Skin Cancer Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) and the Burns MDT, working alongside colleagues from a range of specialties to deliver the best possible outcomes for patients. He has also contributed to advancing the field of plastic surgery through research, with more than 25 publications in peer-reviewed medical journals.

His specialist interests include the surgical treatment of skin cancer, including malignant melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma. He also treats a wide range of benign skin conditions, such as lipomas, cysts and moles, helping patients achieve both functional and cosmetic improvements.

Mr Farroha has particular expertise in burns reconstruction surgery, supporting patients in restoring function, comfort and confidence following burn injuries. In his cosmetic practice, he performs a range of procedures, including abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) surgery and breast reduction surgery, with a focus on achieving natural-looking results tailored to the individual needs and goals of each patient.
