Mr. Kumar is a Consultant specializing in hip and knee replacements for osteoarthritis, as well as knee arthroscopy for meniscal and cartilage conditions. His special interest is in musculoskeletal oncology, particularly soft tissue sarcomas and metastatic bone disease from other cancers. Mr. Kumar completed his medical degree at the Royal Free and University College London Medical School in 2003. His postgraduate training in Trauma & Orthopaedics was in the East Midlands (South) T&O rotation. He subsequently completed fellowships in lower limb arthroplasty and sarcoma. His areas of interest include total knee replacement, patellofemoral conditions, knee arthroscopy, meniscal surgery, steroid injection, viscosupplementation, total hip replacement, trochanteric bursitis, soft tissue sarcomas, lipoma, haemangioma, schwannoma, nerve sheath tumour, atypical lipomatous tumour, giant cell tumour, osteochondroma, enchondroma, pathological fracture, metastatic bone disease, and sarcoma.
