Mr. Sivaraman is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specializing in spinal surgery for deformity, inflammatory spinal pathologies, degenerative conditions of the neck and lower back, spinal tumours, and infections such as spinal tuberculosis. He graduated from Madurai-Kamaraj University in 1993 and completed his higher surgical training through the Percival Pott training programme at St Bartholomew's and The Royal London. He trained in spinal surgery at Norfolk & Norwich University and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital under orthopaedic and neuro-spinal surgeons. Mr. Sivaraman has performed over 500 surgical procedures and spinal injections annually and is actively involved in training medical students and orthopaedic trainees. He has published and presented papers on spinal surgery at international conferences and authored a spinal chapter in a medical textbook. His clinical expertise includes back and neck pain, cervical disc replacement/fusion, coccydynia, degenerative spinal disorders, inter-spinous devices, minimally invasive spinal surgery, pain management, and vertebral compression fractures.
