Ms. Deepa Bose, an orthopaedic trauma and limb reconstruction specialist. Her exclusive focus is on adult patients, and her expertise encompasses the following areas:

• Acute fractures of the forearm, wrist, and lower legs.
• Fractures around the hip, knee, and ankle joints.
• Non-union (fractures that have failed to heal).
• Malunion (fractures that have healed in a bent position).
• Osteomyelitis (bone infection).

Ms. Bose completed her qualification from the University of Calcutta in 1990 before undertaking additional training in the UK. She successfully passed the FRCS examination from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and entered the Welsh regional training programme in trauma and orthopaedics. In 2000, she earned her Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (Trauma and Orthopaedics). Following this, she underwent subspecialist training in bone infection and limb reconstruction at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford, home to the UK's only dedicated bone infection unit.

Beyond her clinical work, Ms. Bose is actively involved in medical education. She completed an MSc in Medical Education from Cardiff University in 2010. Furthermore, she has held the position of regional training programme director for core surgery in the West Midlands and currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Specialist Advisory Committee for Trauma and Orthopaedics. In this role, she is responsible for curriculum development and assessment of doctors undergoing specialized orthopaedic training throughout the United Kingdom.
