Dr May Lwin graduated in medicine from the University of Cambridge and completed her clinical years of medical school at Imperial College London in 2002. She went on to work for one year in Public Health and completed her General Practitioner training as a member of the prestigious and local Riverside Vocational Training Scheme, spending time at a well-regarded practice in Chelsea and holding hospital posts in Chelsea and Westminster and Charing Cross Hospitals.
Following entry to the membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners, she has been working as an NHS GP in Richmond upon Thames. Dr May Lwin is an experienced GP and enjoys the variety that comes with general practice.
She believes in timely, preventative care, a balanced work-life ratio and and that a good doctor-patient relationship is key. Over the years she has gravitated towards women’s health and is fluent on consulting on a wide ranging variety of topics.
Dr May Lwin lives in the leafy borough of Richmond and has a busy family life involving (but not limited to) two children and two cats. Sports fixtures, music and drama productions, markets, cooking, restaurants, riverside walks and mindful movement (yoga, pilates and barre) are regular features in her week.
