Dr. Hayes is a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine at HCA Healthcare UK The Wellington Hospital, with an NHS practice is based at the Wolfson Rehabilitation Centre - St George's University Hospitals NHS Trust. His areas of expertise include neurorehabilitation for acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, peripheral neurology, and spasticity. He has a particular interest in hemiplegic shoulder pain and complex rehabilitation with comorbid conditions, such as acquired brain injury combined with limb loss or spinal injury.
Dr Hayes studied Medicine at St Georges University of London and graduated first in class, and Proxime Accesit to the University of London Gold Medal. He completed his postgraduate training in Norfolk, Cambridge, and London, earning membership with the Royal College of Physicians in 2017, certification with the European Board of PRM in 2021, and completing his Rehabilitation Medicine training in 2022. In addition to his clinical practice, he serves as the undergraduate educational lead for Rehabilitation at City, St George’s University of London.
