Mr. Karan Jolly obtained his medical degree from the University of Birmingham in 2011, developing a strong interest in the complex anatomy of the head and neck early in his career. This focus guided him toward surgery, and he is now a Consultant specialising in Rhinology and Anterior Skull Base Surgery at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.
He completed an advanced fellowship at St Paul’s Sinus Centre and Vancouver General Hospital in Canada, where he gained comprehensive experience in managing complex tertiary cases involving inflammatory diseases and skull base conditions. Before this, Mr. Jolly undertook specialist surgical training in the West Midlands, dedicating significant time to skull base surgery and honing his skills in intricate procedures.
Throughout his training and clinical practice, Mr. Jolly has maintained a strong commitment to research. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed medical journals and presented his findings at both national and international forums. His research contributions were recognised with a national medal awarded by the Royal College of Surgeons.
