About
Mr Ahmed qualified in medicine and surgery from Imperial College London, with distinctions in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, having previously taken an undergraduate degree in Healthcare Management from Imperial College Business School. Following postgraduate training, he completed Obstetrics & Gynaecology residency on the prestigious North West London programme. After completing residency, he undertook advanced fellowship in minimally invasive gynaecology at King’s College Hospital before being appointed Consultant at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, where his NHS practice is based. He was appointed Service Director at the hospital in 2022.
He has presented and lectured widely in the field of minimally invasive surgery and endometriosis, winning multiple prizes including including the prestigious national Gold Laparoscope award in 2019. He is a member of the RCOG, BSGE AND BAIRGS, an Examiner for Imperial College School of Medicine and an international trainer in robotic surgery for endometriosis and complex benign surgery.
