Jasper Morrow

Dr Jasper Morrow is a Consultant Neurologist at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN). His clinical work encompasses both general neurology and specialist neuromuscular medicine, with a particular focus on the assessment and management of complex muscle disorders and peripheral nerve conditions. He holds general neurology clinics at UCLH and Lister Hospital, alongside a dedicated muscle disorders clinic at the NHNN.

Dr Morrow completed his MBChB in 2001 and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2011. He subsequently undertook doctoral research at the Queen Square UCL Institute of Neurology, completing a PhD in quantitative neuromuscular MRI in 2017. His specialist academic interests have continued to develop alongside his clinical practice.

Research forms an important part of Dr Morrow’s professional work. He is actively involved in neuroimaging research at the Queen Square Centre for Neuromuscular Diseases and serves as a co-principal investigator on international research grants investigating quantitative neuromuscular MRI. He also contributes to the development of the next generation of specialists through the supervision of PhD students in the field.

Alongside his clinical and research responsibilities, Dr Morrow has a significant role in medical education and regional service development. He leads the undergraduate neurology education programme at the NHNN and chairs the London and Southeast Coast Neuromuscular Network, working to support and improve access to specialist neuromuscular care across the region.
