Mr Ismail Ughratdar

Mr Ismail Ughratdar is a distinguished Consultant Neurosurgeon currently practising privately in Birmingham at The Harborne Hospital.

A Yorkshire native, Mr Ughratdar graduated with honours from the prestigious University of St Andrews and Manchester in 2004. He subsequently pursued an advanced surgical training path, specialising in neurosurgery at Nottingham, followed by sub-specialty fellowship training at King's College Hospital, London. He is now a fully certified, UK-board registered consultant neurosurgeon.

His neurosurgical expertise includes complex brain tumour surgery, including awake craniotomy, epilepsy surgery, the management of traumatic brain injuries, cavernomas and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) disorders, including hydrocephalus.

Mr Ughratdar welcomes referrals for second opinions regarding the management and treatment of brain tumours. He also welcomes enquiries from patients seeking advice regarding the DCVax programme.

In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Ughratdar provides independent medico-legal expert opinions and reports in neurosurgery.
