Hassan Hameed

Dr Hassan Hameed is a Consultant Medical Oncologist who specialises in breast and sarcoma Medical Oncology. He treats his patient’s using chemotherapy, hormone therapy, biological therapy and immunotherapy.

Dr Hassan Hameed graduated from Punjab Medical College Faisalabad, Pakistan. He joined internal Medicine department at Shaukat khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital as a trainee and went on to complete his post-graduate medical training including passing MRCP (UK)

in 2009. He subsequently moved to UK and have completed his specialist medical oncology training and awarded MRCP (Medical Oncology). From 2019 he has been a Consultant in Medical Oncology at The Christie NHS Trust, Manchester.

He is a member of the Breast and Sarcoma disease groups and is a principal investigator/sub investigator for several national and international clinical trials. He is a member of thedisease-orientated groups for both breast cancer and sarcoma cancer at The Christie and attends regular national and international meetings to stay informed on all developments in cancer care.
