Using advanced diagnostic techniques, medical therapies, catheter-based procedures and cardiac device implantation, Dr Leventogiannis provides tailored treatment plans designed around each patient's clinical needs and lifestyle. His practice includes catheter ablation for both simple and complex rhythm disturbances, as well as the implantation of pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs).
Following completion of his specialist training in cardiac electrophysiology in the UK, Dr Leventogiannis undertook advanced subspecialist training at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, gaining extensive experience in the management of complex cardiac rhythm conditions.
Recognised as a high-volume operator, he performs a wide range of electrophysiology procedures. In March 2023, he was among the first specialists in the UK to successfully perform left bundle branch area pacing (LBBAP) using a stylet-driven lead system, an innovative technique that can provide more physiological cardiac pacing for suitable patients.
Committed to delivering personalised, evidence-based care, Dr Leventogiannis works closely with each patient to ensure they understand their condition and treatment options, enabling them to make informed decisions and achieve the best possible outcomes.
