Georgette Oni is one of a handful of plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgeons dual qualified in breast cancer surgery in the UK. She is a Consultant Surgeon at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge and has over 20 years experience. She offers cosmetic and reconstructive procedures including cosmetic breast, and body surgery, oncoplastic breast cancer surgery and microvascular free flap/implant based breast reconstruction. Her PhD research was conducted in the world renowned plastic surgery unit at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas, USA. She has authored over 50 publications, book chapters and has numerous national/international presentations.

She was a Lady Estelle Wolfson Emerging Leader fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS Eng) and more recently the Aesthetic society (formally American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, ASAPS) International Fellow. She is the specialist advisor on oncoplastic breast surgery and assistant editor (Annals, plastic surgery section) for RCS Eng.

She is passionate about training and is the current BAPRAS representative on the national Oncoplastic Breast TIG committee. She is a mentor to aspiring surgeons and is a passionate health advocate at home where she is a trustee for Breast Cancer Now and overseas where she has been involved in health outreach programs.
