With over 17 years of experience in both NHS and private maternity services, Ffion is a highly skilled and compassionate midwife dedicated to providing personalised, videncebased care to women and their families. 

Ffion began her midwifery training at the internationally renowned Liverpool Women’s Hospital and has since worked across multiple hospitals in the North West of England. Her career has spanned both community and hospital-based roles, allowing her to gain extensive experience in all aspects of maternity care.

For over a decade, Ffion worked as part of a community midwifery team in East Cheshire, offering continuity of care from early pregnancy through to the postnatal period. This included leading antenatal clinics, delivering parent education classes, supporting both home and hospital births, and providing breastfeeding guidance and postnatal support in the home. Alongside her community work, Ffion has 7 years of experience in a busy hospital delivery unit, where she developed advanced clinical skills in labour and birth care, triage, obstetric emergencies, and neonatal support.

In recent years, she has also worked in private practice, delivering antenatal and postnatal care in collaboration with experienced consultants. Her work in this setting has further broadened her expertise and refined her ability to deliver high-quality, bespoke maternity care.

Ffion is also trained in a range of complementary therapies, holding NMC-recognised qualifications in aromatherapy, reflexology, moxibustion, and the use of alternative remedies to support wellbeing during pregnancy.
