About

Mr Ali is a highly accomplished orthopaedic surgeon with an exceptional academic and clinical background. He completed a prestigious National Institute for Health and Care Research Academic Clinical Lectureship at the University of Cambridge, alongside an undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at Imperial College London. He later undertook his doctorate at Magdalene College, Cambridge, supported by the largest individual research grant ever awarded by the British Orthopaedic Association.

He has completed specialist fellowships in major trauma and knee surgery within the UK, as well as internationally recognised fellowships at leading centres worldwide. He is actively involved in research and education, having secured over £115,000 in peer-reviewed research funding. He has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications and delivered over 50 presentations at international conferences. He also serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Arthroplasty. His research has included work on osteoblast function and its role in early hip and knee replacement failure.

In addition to his clinical and research work, Mr Ali is committed to medical education.
