Vijay Hajela

Dr. Vijay Hajela is a Consultant Rheumatologist specializing in non-specific musculoskeletal pain, connective tissue diseases, inflammatory arthritis, non-specific and regional joint and muscular pain, gout, rheumatoid arthritis, pseudogout, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, post-infectious arthritic syndromes, fibromyalgia and related disorders, back and neck pain, osteoporosis, polymyalgia and GCA (temporal arteritis), connective tissue diseases and vasculitis, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), and carpal tunnel syndrome and work-related upper limb pain. He graduated from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne in 1990 and completed his training in rheumatology and general internal medicine in London and the South East of England. Dr. Hajela has published numerous papers on various rheumatological conditions and treatments and is actively involved in research, education, and training.
